Happy New Year my friends! I hope you are all enjoying an extra sip of cold brew nitro infused breve latte with an extra shot of yak milk stirred twice at 160 degrees (71 celsius for the rest of the planet...)!!!
I read an article today that I thought you might find interesting. It definitely speaks to us "artist" types and reframes the way we look at business, finance, and finding fans. Basically it talks about all the stuff that we HATE to think about. BUT don't turn away just yet!! I found it quite inspirational and interesting. It may just give you hope in a world that is completely over-saturated, over-advertised, and confusing as hell to navigate. For instance, what if instead of needing to have 100,000 fans like your page, you only needed 1,000? The article is called "1,000 True Fans". Most people probably read this article as a finance article, which it certainly is, but I find it most interesting as a sharpened perspective on reaching our niche demographics. The best part about it is it's short and can probably be read in less than 10 minutes. Should you get a chance to read it, let me know your thoughts! https://kk.org/thetechnium/1000-true-fans/
